Rick is a Senior Consultant at MOR Associates focusing on leadership development. He delivers workshop segments on developing talent, coaching and collaboration. His concentration has been on leadership teams and individuals at research universities and National Laboratories. Rick has worked with leaders and teams at MIT, Indiana University, University of Illinois, Stanford and UC-Berkeley. On the lab side, he has provide leadership development at Berkeley Lab, Argonne Lab and Lincoln Lab at MIT among others.
Rick’s career as a leadership coach spans two decades. Through this time frame, the emphasis has remained consistent: change is a constant. With a clear future vision and a commitment for action, change can be positive and sustainable. It will become a set of productively developed transitions. His “work on self” focuses on the creation of clear future goals, an accurate self-assessment and the development of attainable action steps to “close the gap” between the current state and the desired outcome.
Prior to his work at MOR Associates, Rick was a Training and Development leader in private industry. In addition to leadership development and talent management, Rick helped work groups develop the skills and practices needed to become high-performing teams. Whatever the venue, the hallmark of Rick’s work is consistent: vision, strategy, and a genuine commitment to action.
