What is the Lead From Where You Are Program?

The Lead From Where You Are Program is designed to cultivate, inspire, and prepare emerging leaders, unlocking their full potential. The experience focuses on developing three essential and complementary assets: mindset, skillset, and toolset. Participants learn how to think productively about themselves and others in the context of leadership, whether sustaining a technical focus or pursuing a managerial path. Professional and personal growth is achieved through collaborative workshop activity as well as individualized coaching. Recognizing and engaging individuals through this program builds confidence, enabling participants to see and pursue a pathway forward for meaningful contribution and sustainable leadership growth.

Who is a good fit for the program?

This program is designed for individual contributors, technical leads, and entry-level managers who may or may not have direct reports.

Leadership isn’t about a title or position. Rather, the potential lives in everyone, and leadership can arise through personal choice and individual action.

Program Components

The program provides a variety of learning opportunities encompassed in four tracks:

  • Individual Development personalizes the experience through 360° feedback, leadership assessments, establishment of personal goals, and work with a MOR Coach.
  • Multi-day Workshops focus on providing conceptual frameworks, building selected competencies, and introducing tools.
  • Applied Learning provides participants with opportunities to meaningfully practice the concepts and lessons presented during workshops.
  • Leadership Community emerges as participants expand their network, express trust and support, and regularly collaborate with each other.

The program can be delivered exclusively to your organization, or in collaboration or consortium with other organizations. On-site, hybrid, and remote options are all available.

What outcomes can I expect?

The program powerfully integrates professional and personal development. Upon program completion, participants state the experience was effective in developing their leadership, with many stating it was very or extremely effective. In the face of any objective or obstacle, program participants learn how to assess, strategize, take action, cultivate alignment, and improve results in partnership with others.
